A little bit about me

My way to wine

I started my journey in the hospitality industry in a charming family-run hotel in my home region, the Palatinate (Germany). After finishing my apprenticeship, I worked at the Kaisergarten in Deidesheim, where I was in service at its new opening and had the chance to get to know Palatinate wine.

Before I then immersed myself in the world of 5-star hotels and fine dining in Switzerland at the Tschuggen Grand Hotel in Arosa. After my training as a sommelier at the Heidelberg Hotel Management School I took over the duties of a sommelier and deputy restaurant manager in the two-starred restaurant focus Atelier at the famous Park Hotel Vitznau.

My passion

For me, wine is like life itself. If you stay curious, you can always learn and discover something new about it. It can teach you many virtues like patience and mindfulness. Awaken emotions and strengthen friendships. But above all, wine should be enjoyed and preferably in company.
